Emitter color based on emitted object.


I am creating a simple logo animation, and can’t figure out the most mundane of tasks.

The logoname has varoius colors on it. It emits 100K small particles, based on a simple icosphere object.

How can i make it such that the emitted objects gets the color from the part of the text they are emitted from, and keeps this color for the duration of the animation?

I work in internal renderer.

Sorry this is cycles, but if you use cycles then it has what you want …
