Error: Executing Python scripts via console

Hi.
I’m trying to execute a Python script within Blender via command line.
But when I do this the following error occurs:
“Error in BPY_run_python_script: couldn’t create Blender text from myScript.py”

I coudn’t find any solution for that.
Does anybody know what’s going on here?

This error only occurs when using Blender 2.47, it’s working with 2.46.

That sounds like a bug to me. It might be a good idea to add it to the tracker (http://projects.blender.org/) for the developers to check out.
