Escher's Waterfall

Finally finished Waterfall. This took somewhere around 300 hours in full. I started mid October on it. The full scene has about 7.3M tri’s.

Hope you like.

Very nice, I love Escher’s work. I’d love to see how you did it

Thanks much Bart! I will post some images of the model in Blender. I’ll tell you though, I did it basically the same as how they did the wood model at the Art Museum in Houston. Here’s a link to the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jGmmNQbsFxk
I used fSpy to camera match - so this one basically lines up with the original if you overlay it. Just like my Relativity does. Also, now I want to color that one too.
The foreground and background are two different Blender scenes also. The background is 6.4M tris and on my crappy laptop it’s slow going. I just composite the two renders - they both use the same fSpy camera so it’s just a straight comp.

Wow, Thanks a ton Bart! I’m still getting some shots together… been one of those weeks between work and two snow storms / two snow days for the kids.
