explain3d - feedback and cooperation

Hello my friends,

currently I am working on system of educational simulations for education. People can play with small simulations of basic tools/processes and devices and learn how they work. Its only fast prototype. All models are mid using blender and game engine is Unity 3D.

You can check project here: http://explain3d.com/

I would like to ask you for FEEDBACK:

  • what do you think about such kind of education
  • feel free to send ideas, comments and critique

I would like to ask you for COOPERATION:
modeling , texturing and animation of models - e.g.transmission, differential, car parts…

If you have questions, feel free to ask.

Definitely a cool idea. I’d imagine seeing something like this in schools and such. I’m not good enough in blender to make models and such, but I definitely think it’s a great idea

Partynader thank you for your feedback

Hello Blenderheads,

we are so excited to announce, that we launched crowdfunding campaign for explain3d. (system of small donations to support projects) Campaign is here: http://igg.me/at/explain3d/x/4778015. If you like it, you can support us with donations and sharing!

All modeling is done with blender, we have positive feedback on system so we decided to crowdfund our project and create unique system and support blender community.

Looks pretty cool!

Definitely check your pitch video for body language. it isn’t easy to present naturally, still body language and facial expressions are communicating more than the words.

So either check youtube for some videos on presentation and speaking, then rehearse rehearse and rehearse some more or barter with someone who does it naturally every day. Fiverr might be a source of people who present all the time. Because the pitch is more or less the first impression you make.

Also, you might want to speed up the lock-key animation. No need to show the key for several seconds flying towards the lock. Treat the video like a movie.

I don’t say that to be mean or harsh. It’s a cool concept. That’s actually the reason why I point out areas of improvement. So it has a chance to get funded.

We are proud to announce that explain3D finished as one of the 25 promissing start-ups! http://cnb.cx/1jmwUldAnd now you can be with us: http://igg.me/at/explain3d/x/4778015 …

Haunt_house - thank you for your comments. This is something I know - i am not actor, but for crowdfunding campaign is important to be personal… I am only human  But I am planning to create more interesting videos :))
