currently I am working on system of educational simulations for education. People can play with small simulations of basic tools/processes and devices and learn how they work. Its only fast prototype. All models are mid using blender and game engine is Unity 3D.
Definitely a cool idea. I’d imagine seeing something like this in schools and such. I’m not good enough in blender to make models and such, but I definitely think it’s a great idea
we are so excited to announce, that we launched crowdfunding campaign for explain3d. (system of small donations to support projects) Campaign is here: http://igg.me/at/explain3d/x/4778015. If you like it, you can support us with donations and sharing!
All modeling is done with blender, we have positive feedback on system so we decided to crowdfund our project and create unique system and support blender community.
Definitely check your pitch video for body language. it isn’t easy to present naturally, still body language and facial expressions are communicating more than the words.
So either check youtube for some videos on presentation and speaking, then rehearse rehearse and rehearse some more or barter with someone who does it naturally every day. Fiverr might be a source of people who present all the time. Because the pitch is more or less the first impression you make.
Also, you might want to speed up the lock-key animation. No need to show the key for several seconds flying towards the lock. Treat the video like a movie.
I don’t say that to be mean or harsh. It’s a cool concept. That’s actually the reason why I point out areas of improvement. So it has a chance to get funded.
Haunt_house - thank you for your comments. This is something I know - i am not actor, but for crowdfunding campaign is important to be personal… I am only human But I am planning to create more interesting videos :))
