Special thanks to all those who helped out in my WIP post.

Enjoy

Ironically, I’m the first to post here…

yep, you’re the first out of 147 people.

anyone alive out there?

well… not me, im blender-dead right now  (and this is blender heaven)

well the image is my background right now >.<

what can i say? lets start with nice idea

now…

the objects are all low poly and very simply textured and whether this is part of the style or not they need more work

the top left hand corner i see a texture come to an abrupt hault, dunno whether its intentional or not but i dont like that

overall i think the image is shalow and lacking in detail

try adding all of the usual tricks blender has, motion blur, particals, Dof (if you know how), mist effects, reflection, transparency, SUBSURFACING etc.

i think you can make it better thats all

Actually, now that I look at it more closely, I think that the only possible improvement is some of the post-pro you did, as I rather liked the original a bit better, but that’s just me.

Felix_Kutt:
Im glad you liked it = )

TheANIMAL:
I dont think using as many render-supplementing techniques as possible is going to make an image look better. Im not sure if you noticed or not but i did use subsurfacing and reflection. I doubt mist, DoF, and motion blur together will make it look any better. Please explain what you mean by “shalow” because there is deep meaning in this image and had you read my WIP thread you would know the reasoning behind it. Anyway, if anything this image could be simplified more. I think it has enough detail. Maybe too much.

Tynach:
Yeah, i think the post pro was kinda iffy myself. Its too late to change anything though.
