Export armature animation only (to FBX)

Hi guys
I want to export armature with animation (in actions) to fbx. I do not need mesh in my fbx - just animation.
After export, when I’m trying to import a animation it appears that armature rest pose started to be a 1st frame of animation. It means that when I’m entering edit mode there’s no T - pose, but bones are moved to location of 1st frame animation.

Where are you using the animation? I tested using UE4, importing the mesh first and then the animation, it worked fine. I guess only rigs not having a rest pose makes sense because it’s not bound to mesh data.

Hi Wipf, it deppens on what software you would like to export to. If is Unreal, i can help you, in Unreal, you should have the option to export the animation only, select the skelletal mesh you want to use, then, click export animation, but uncheck export mesh (i don’t remember de Unreal menu but, it says something similar)
