Export objects in Blender format


Duno if someone else already asked for this but I would like to know if there is a simple way to save selected objects from a scene into a blender file just like we export in obj format for instance. As I have some huge scenes I would like to split them and add the objects in a object library for futher usage of simply to use them through the link function.
