Export RVKs?

Can I make an expression, say, the closing of eyelids, using RVKs, and then somehow make that a part of an FBX export? Somehow, using NLA? I’d REALLy rather use RVKs for this, but I can’t seem to make a ShapeKey Action (converted to an NLA strip) show up in the FBX export… Thanks in advance to any who can help.

You can always use Export Vertex Animation (mdd) from the mesh. That is a universally used format and then you could then import that into your other app.

Yeah, I’m trying to import the animation into Unity3d, which doesnt seem to recognize .mdd files. I’m starting to think that an armature solution will be a requirement. Does anyone out there know a good tutorial on how I might attach a bone to what amounts to a facial deformation? The character is a cat and they don’t really have outer lids, they just squinch their eyes closed until the eyebrow touches the cheekbone. I can’t imagine how to do that with bones…
