I want to extract curves from a curve.
I tried by converting the curves to polygons first.
Then select edge loops manually and duplicate these edges.
Finally convert the edges to curves.
But I need to do this kind of operation many times.
Is there a better way to do this?
Without writing a script, I don’'t think it can be done… Correct me if I am wrong.

Selection is the problem.
Because I need to select every vertical edge loop one by one manually.
That is time consuming.
I will extract curves in Maya.
