Why do I keep getting this strange behaviour when I extrude manifold?
Why do these faces keep showing up?
Extrude manifold is rather limited. It works well enough on simple cube shapes, but anything more complicated has a chance to fail.
Also, I would check if there were any overlapping vertices, especially for that one in the middle that remained in the air.
