Eyebrows, Eyelashes, Eyemoisture and Teeth in Rigify Face Rig

Hello!

I’ve parented my model to the rigify rig (did not delete her face rig), her hair and upper teeth to the head bone and eyes to the eyebones. However, I’m not sure where to parent her eyebrows, eyelashes, eyemoisture and lower teeth.

Please let me know!

If those are different objects (different meshes), your best easy option is probably to copy weights from the face with a data transfer modifier, nearest face interpolated, and then parent to armature with armature deform only.

Except the lower teeth. Doesn’t rigify come with a lower teeth bone? If so, parent it to that; otherwise, parent it to one of the jaw bones (whichever looks right, IIRC there’s like five of them that are just various levels of copy rotation.)

A little bit of extra work would probably be worthwhile for eyelashes, but depends on the style.

i barely understand your first paragraph but i will try and figure it out hahaha.
eyemoisture is just an extra to give the eyes the look of moisture around the lids, so i’ll probably do the same thing to it based on whatever i end up doing with the eyelashes.

when you say parent to armature, is it the rig itself? do i parent it to the head rig? am i understanding everything wrong? hahaha

That’s a data transfer modifier, but you don’t have it set up right. Read about the modifier on the manual and do a bit of Googling on how to use it.

You parent to whichever armature your main mesh is parented to.
