Face is drawn transparent from one side even when I have double sided normals on


This is just probably something I don’t understand and not a bug in Blender 2.57b but can you take a look and let me know why my plane is drawn as transparent from the other side of the face?

Turn off the ‘Textured Solid’ option and you’ll see the plane as solid on both sides
