Faces...?

Hey fellas

I am trying to make a flying saucer type thing, and I have hit a little snag. As you can see on the render below the outer “shell” is very thin, I was wondering if there is an easy way to duplicate, resize and then “auto-face” them together to get a feeling of a more solid outer shell?

In editmode select all vertices of the outer shell. then press E ->Extrude Region, then press Esc. An extra ring is now created in the same place as the original one. Now press S to scale this new ring to the size you want.

YAY! Great advice mate, thanks alot. My creation now has the desired look to it when subsurfed and rendered :slight_smile:
