Just wanted to share this intriguing video a friend just let me know about. It shows some demos of Faceshift, a recently released piece of software for motion capture of faces. It still looks like it has room for improvement, but what they’ve achieved so far looked pretty impressive.
I suppose animation studios have ways to do this sort of motion capture already but this looks like they are opening it up a bit with an SDK. I wonder if something like this could ever be incorporated into blender or used in the workflow?
