Facing the sun no more

This was more of a test of time efficiency, see how fast I can create something simple but convincing enough in a short amount of time
Took around 2-3 hours, render + edit + CC included

Will try to do more of these for sure!

the atmosphere, the idea, the details of the shovel…, the sunflowers have been modeled! details and finish… ++

How much of this did you have made beforehand? I mean the vegetation would have taken hours by itself.

thanks! though I gotta break it for you, I didn’t model much here
So not gonna take that merit - most of those are Quixel assets. Most of the work was in the composition / lighting and shaders for the soil and so on

@Kogomat Same as stated above unfortunately !
I used assets for the grass

This is cool. Well done. Doesn’t matter if one modeled anything or not – it’s what you do with it that matters. Great simple but effective scene. Love the added touch of the birds.

Thanks a lot! really appreciated

I know some 3D artists are more into creating everything themselves - which I totally admire!
But I consider more my approach as virtual photography - I model / sculpt only things that really require to be unique / personalized

A very interesting idea. Is the camera in a grave? Well-thought-out and well-executed.
