Faking clothes physics in GE

Hi,

I made a character with several animations (running, jumping etc.) but he’s naked. I would like to make him wear a loose shirt and use cloth physics to deform the shirt during the character actions, record some shape keys of the shirt and then use actions + shape keys in GE but I can’t frigure out how to do this.

I tried to bake frames from the cloth menu and then add shape keys but the keys seem to store always the basic undeformed shape of the shirt :frowning:

So, is there a way to record animation from a cloth object in blender and then use it in GE ?

Just use a realtime soft body.

It would use a lot of calculations for a poor result. That’s why I want to “bake” the cloth animations.
