Fancy capuccino

Revisiting a project. I was searching my HD for a cupcake frost-like I was (almost) sure I’ve already made in the past.
I found it but I have to remake all the geometry nodes, since the first version was made in Blender 3.6 (I’m using 4.1 now).
I also made some improvements in the shaders. And I had to redo the lace shader as well, because I had lost the original texture.

Great work!

Mind my asking how you did the lace placemat? Was it a geo-nodes network, if so, I’m very interested to know the maths behind it.

Thank you!
A friend of mine own a candy and coffee shop where she sells some of those
In fact, she was the one who challenged me to model this delicious drink.

Thank you!
The lace placemat is a shader, a simple setup using alpha channel.
But it’s a very good idea trying to make this with geo-nodes

Looks a lot like my Mocca coffee that I make at home (extremely indulgent).

Nice work
