fbx import with 2.76b

hi, i imported an fbx file in 2.76b. unlike in 2.72b, the armature root(hip) now is missing, and all of its translation/rotation data is in the object armature, not in the armature root(hip) itself. i need to export the animated armature as bvh but the hip bone is missing. The exported armature only move and rotate in place… any suggestion?
