Feature request - show armature bones while editing custom shapes

This is a feature request, because I think this can’t be done yet.

When a bone is given a custom shape, that bone is completely replaced by the custom shape. But sometimes it would help if there was an option for keeping the bone visible while editing the custom shape, so that it fits exactly where it needs to be according to the bone. I know most times it doesn’t need to be according to the bone but yes to the mesh, but anyway could be helpful. One way to do it is duplicating the armature and have one show no custom shape so that it serves as a background.
