Hi, I sorry I donāt have the time to explain in great detail hereās a brief outline.
By using the Video sequence editor, on the top header there are 2 pull down menus the one on the left will probably say SCR:2-Model, click that one and select sequence, or just select it from the window type .
From there you can load pre rendered movies, images, audio, effects, etc, just click on āAddā.
1:I prefer to work with pre-rendered avi movies, so select āAddā -> āMovieā, go to wherever you saved your movie and move it to the required frame.
2:Then do the same with sound effects and music, as far as I know Blender only likes the Wav 16bit format.
For more detail please refer to the Blender documentation and the Blender Wiki
Hope this helps
Thanks but I still dont understand how to gett my droid moving. Here is a picture.tell me what to do next.
Dear Jedi,
Joining a Model to an Armature is called āRiggingā. There is a really good Tutorial HERE which talks you through modelling a simple Gingerbread Man, creating an Armature, Rigging the Armature to the Model and then making the little guy walk
Itās a fantastic tutorial and Iām sure will help you get your little robot dude walking in no time 8)
Nobodyā¦ I have a question myself howeverā¦ how did you manage to render your Video with Xvid Codec please ??? I only appear to have the options to render a video with AVI RAW or AVI JPG, and canāt find any external tools to create an Xvid video. Can you point me in the right direction please ??
Many thanks!
Youāll first need to install the Xvid codec (google for compiled versions.) Then get VirtualDub (if youāre on Windblows) and re-encode to Xvid. See my post in this thread:

Gabio has done an excellent workshop here at elYsiun check it out here
I used an external program not sure what OS you use soā¦for Windows Virtualdub Linux Avidemux , Mac ? This allows you to composite the audio with the movie as the sequencer after mixdown gives you 2 files the .avi or whatever and the wav file.
