I remember this from another thread. You should put the other image without filmic. It’s a perfect example how subtle changes in light make a huge difference.
That comparison made me smile. So glad it looks like filmic will be in Master soon (2.8) Lovely render btw!
How are you doing the IES light? Is that just a custom light node setup?

The little changes to color really make the filmic render easier on the eyes. It’s the little details.
Yep, filmic is more naturally for me. Keep posting
