First Impressions of Rhino 3

amapi isnt bad, however not as stable as rhino while it offers more tools in some areas

BTW, the command line that is currently developed for Blender is a very useful enhancement. It will not in any way interfere with the way you have always steered your way around the interface. It’s like giving access to some parts of Blender’s nuts and bolts. One way to describe it is it gives you the power to describe in words (commands) what you want to do, much like communicating by email in the form of texts. Which means it’s possible to produce 3d by typing commands without touching any pointing device. Those series of commands you invoke could even be shortened or grouped into one command, then given an alias like “cs2”, for example, which creates a cube subdivided twice. And more…

I am very, VERY happy to hear that Blender is going to have a command line! I always use Rhino’s command line and Max’s listener as much as I can. Yay!
