First ray of Sun

Exercise to improve my sculpting skills and various tecniques inside Blender <3.
inspired by the wonderful artwork of Ilya Ozornin (love your style man!)
i’ve had great fun finally using blender nodes in a proper way, learned truly a lot.
credits to my love Biancamaria Mori for giving me advice that truly improved final render, i love you babe <3.

This is a really lovely render.

If I may offer a slight critique, I’m not sure the background particularly works. It just doesn’t match with the rest of the renders quality, in my opinion.

But otherwise, it’s really excellent!

thank you, i’ll keep the advice for the next work, very kind

Nice… one thing does made me stumple a little…

(hidden to not influence others.. open only after making you own thought ;)

(mostly because it’ directly in the center)… the cloth are transparent… but her legs… seems to be in an weird angle or the cloth… depends how you do want to see it…

… and yeah… only sculpt what is visible :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

yep, sculpting her i’ve realized that she’s not in the center of the beast, but on its side, in fact if i remove the clothes everithing makes sense, i’ve just followed the original image.

Hi everyone,

Here is the “Behind the Scenes” article for this spectacular artwork!

Do check out this article, written by the artist himself. It describes the process of making the artwork step by step and provides insight into scene-building in Blender.
