Installed octane for blender and setup the simplest scene but loved the way octane is integrated in blender.

What does octane have over cycles?

Realism for one.

octane is more towards realistic renders, realtime faster previews, more control on where you wanna have more samples to look your render clean and optimized at the same time. 
Better caustic, much, much better displacement for example, also volumetric is much faster - better… You can watch videos on Nvidia YouTube channel, there is couple videis for Octane for Blender.
Anyway Cycles is very good and give much more “creative freedom” to play with shaders.
