First timer to Blender

Hi!

22 years ago, I started working in 3D using Maya, but then I was presented with a new opportunity in post-production (After Effects and Photoshop) and dropped 3D altogether.

I had heard of blender, since the very beginning but never took to it.

After a while the 3D “bug” started nagging me and I slowly started to experiment for some time, I installed Blender and I’m amazed at the growth this tool has had.

Well, here’s an image of the very first 3D scene I have done in 14 years!

Modelling done in Blender, shaded and rendered using AMD Render Pro (which I didn’t know existed but now I LOVE!)

Yeah, Blender sure has improved a lot from those long-ago days. The future’s so bright, and you already got shades. :wink:
