Hi friends, this is a revamped version of my very first work I made in blender 6 years ago, It is about a very nice Fisher Radio Recorder that I had when I was 13, It brings back very happy memories from My childhood and the disco music I used to listen since that age up to these days.
It lasted for several years and was the perfect match for my cherished Amiga 500, I still remember feeling the chills when I listened to the amazing music from Shadow of the beast games or the freaking awesome music from Allister Brimble or Chris Hülsbeck as in Project X and Apidya respectively.
I provided some reference pics at the end of the first post, I tried to reproduce the scratches and dirty state of a well taken care of device but that shows it´s age somehow.
I am posting this work as finished.
Nice. But check the speakers mesh pattern - in your first image it’s correkt on the the rights speaker, but distorted on the left one. In the third image ii’s wrong on both.
Hello CAE, Thank You very much!, I agree with You and I have identified the problem, I will get it fixed for the next render.
I think by wednesday I will issue the finished renders with all the pending corrections, Bye friend.
I just updated some renders to show corrected speakers and a close up to show some very little details that sometimes get lost in the big picture, there are still pending issues, mainly having to do with the deck keys.
I left some previous renders so You can see the difference beetwen the old and new speakers.
Thank You for watching!.
Thank You very much, I feel really happy You liked my work, as You may see I already posted some finished renders but I guess I will be adding some more renders in a different composition and lighting and maybe fix anything that comes up in the feedback. Bye Svatzsier.
Thank You engart!. Do You agree that those recorders had a very good sound or is it rather that at that age my hearing was better?
Hope to read You soon friend. Bye
I do! It had great sound. I wish I still had it. I gave it to one of my kids and it got neglected and damaged and finally thrown out which made me sad. It had fantastic sound, very natural sound.
Lol, Yeah I´m a bit old too but I remeber it had very clear high frequency sound, a good balance between bass and treble, the only downside of the one I had is that it could not record metal tapes but I used it a lot to hear to the radio and later to use it as an amplifier for my commodore amiga and sega genesis!.
Bye for now friend, it has been a joy for Me to share our experiences, I hope to read You and share opinions in the future!.
Thank You friend, I don´t know how well google translated your commentary but I think It means You liked it very much, Thanks friend, it is very satisfactory my work gets appreciated by people all over the world, Your generous commentary brought happiness to Me friend! Bye.
Thanks to all friends who liked this post, it has a special place to Me as it was my first personal work and not based on a tutorial.
By the way, speaking about tutorials I would like to Thank “TUTOR4U” https://www.youtube.com/@tutor4u amazing Youtube channel as his videos are master pieces of teaching, a true champion.
Without his videos maybe I would have thrown the towel after getting inside faces or doubles for the nth time and thanks for explaining clearly what the heck is a normal.
Bye friends!.
