Flaming Boy

This is a commissioned work.

I wanted to make the character feel as similar to the 2d original work, so I used a lot of toon shading to give it that slight 2D feel while trying to retain its 3D aspects and features more clearly. The character is using the Eevee renderer so it’s completely Realtime. I also learnt nodes from the Lightning Boy Shader and edited quite a bit of it to work as I want it to.

Overall, I think this turned out as I wanted it to, and I was able to establish workflow for this kind of a style.
