Si I’m having this issue with the Flip Fluids add-on. I’m new with blender, but I have some background from others 3d programs. The thing is that when I bake my simulation with a mid level resolution, I get the effect I want, but when I rise the resolution to a higher level, and bake it, the simulation changed. The fluid behaves different. Any thoughts? It’s giving me a headache.
I have seen the same thing. The simulation behaves very differently depending on the resolution.
I was working with a water splash effect. At the end, I had to work with the final resolution from the beginning to get what I want.
Blender 2.8x has it´s own new fluid system. Maybe that is different, but I haven´t tried, yet.
Best regards,
Michael
That’s what I’m doing, I’m working with the final resolution all the time. I haven’t tried Mantaflow either.
Hope someone realize about this issue and came with a solution.
I thought it was just me, or that I was doing something wrong.
