It took some time but I managed to add dust particles to the whitewater simulation of FLIP fluids. The generation is still rather rough and there are certainly some things that need to be improved but this is what i had time for at the moment.

The addon comes with the complete source code. So I looked through the code and everywere were there was white water code I added code for an extra particle type.
Obstacle objects now have a
dust emission strength. From this a dust emission strength field grid is generated (based on proximity to the surface of obstacles). In the white water generation dust gets generated when the dust field strength is high enough. Once emitted the dust particles behave similar to bubble particles but they sink to the ground.
