I’m making that flower, but I’m kinda stuck and I have no idea what to do next, what background use, what kind of lighting would work here… Some help, guys?

Well obviously it depends on the mood you’d like to achieve.
For it seems to be a glowing plant a dark space maybe would look good.
Since the flower is orange you can easily get a nice contrast by using blue as a complimentary color.
So it probably demands a nighttime scene with moonlight - id say.

Pretty good. Just make a forest scene with the flower as the centerpiece. Put a light haze with a light coming from above, with the forest around it shroud in shadow because of the canopy. Put a light green/colored vignette in post-pro and voila!

I like it how it is, except that it needs balance. Otherwise, a background would do the trick. I like henrymop’s ideas. Or maybe just a simple gradient of blue for a simple sky. Sometimes simplicity is better than complexity. The flower itself is quite beautiful. Don’t distract from it too much.
