Fluid initial puddle?

Hi,

How do I start a fluid simulation with no fluid, and then using INFLOW start flowing after 1 second?

I created an inflow object and scaled it to “0” then at one second scaled it to the size I want, and then at 3 seconds scaled it back to “0”. This effectively turned on and off the fluid, but when I start the simulation (with the inflow object at 0), there is a puddle that grows in the middle of the domain that has nothing to do with the inflow. I don’t want this. How do I remove the initial puddle?

For the inflow, just keyframe (I or RMB on value) the ‘Enabled’ option to be on/off at the frames you want the inflow to be on/off
