Fluid to the wall

I’m having a strange problem where fluid is starting off in the wrong position. Specifically, it likes to stretch out along the X axis until it hits the domain wall. It doesn’t matter how much extra space I give it by enlarging the domain. It still stretches on until it makes contact. This bizarre resulting shape is then what the fluid sim ends up starting out with at frame 1, rather than something resembling the fluid object.

Here’s a screenshot to illustrate. Fluid sim settings are on their defaults. Any ideas?

Check the Scale settings or reset them with Ctrl-A. If that doesn’t work post the blend.


Are you sure that your inflow velocity from your fluid object is correct?
