haven’t been active here for ages ^^ …but since I finally overcame my inner resistance towards learning more about texturing and materials, I’d thought I might share the results…
I wanted to create a 3d model from this OC sketch, which I drew in 2020:
I first thought it would be impossible, how am I going to finish such a huge piece of work?? But somehow I managed to overcome all obstacles!

Background HDRI is from polyheaven.
I learned a lot from Southern Shotty 3D and his texturing class on Skillshare, where I also got the fabric texture and the leather texture for the gloves, boots…
Texturing and materials though were always a a struggle for me, so I am very happy to have finished my flying dragon girl
Please let me know what you think. Feedback for improvement on any aspect is also very welcome! …and also…should I animate it or make it into a 3d print??
