Another piece in my latest series, the post-apocalyptic flying world. I’m at a point where I can reuse a lot of assets form the past two, which is really nice.
Something I think is pretty cool that I did here is how I made the container shader. I used the object color to drive the hue in an HSV node, so I could have one material for all the containers but have different colors.

Technical stuff:
Rendered in Cycles at 16 samples with the compositing denoiser on a MacBook Air.
Composited in Affinity Designer (Not optimal for this, but it did the job).
346,008 verts in the final scene.
