This project was an amazing challenge and learning process for me. I learned about correct modeling objects, textures, lighting and environment. The Blender community is truly special, thanks for all the great tutorials and forums…

-Textures: made most of the textures from pictures I took in my own house and neighborhood with the help of a cool program called Materialize
This house is situated in a forest. This brings on a challenge of light.
Even though trees are amazing to live between, it can be dark at certain moments.
This is why the living areas of the house have been elevated to the upper floor and the sleeping areas are on ground level.
There is a contrast between the geometric base shape of the house and the surrounding curved terraces that float between the crowns of the trees.
The contrast is also present in the materials of red copper with patina and concrete with wood plank texture.
