Congrats to this great work. Do you have interest in trying out few geometrical models (ply format - non commericial usage) of trees? I am a scientific open source programmer and have a software which can produce high detailed ply files from laser scanned trees (SimpleForest).
If you have interest in trying those out - there is already downloadable data on the linked homepage you can contact me any time.
