Forum breaks regularly on Firefox

It’s the second time in a few months that BlenderArtists stopped displaying correctly on Firefox. I don’t remember how I managed to fix it the first time, deleting cookies and data is not enough to restore it. Is it because of some update that happened recently?

Never had any issue with other browsers, but Firefox is my browser of choice.

Seems to be okay on debian linux with a “fresh installed” older Firefox 126:

and with a newer FireFox 133:

And AFAIK there were no recent update on the forum software made on BA.

This phenomenon is similar to the screen you see when there is a problem with the network speed (connection).

@Okidoki Thanks for checking, I’m on Firefox 133. I think last time I fixed it by re-installing Firefox, I wonder if there is a way to completely clear the cache, seems that the option to delete data in the Settings is not enough.

@oo_1942 No internet speed issue here, I’m at 180Mbits/s in download.

Well sometimes clearing cache and also cookies is enough… and sometimes… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I’m having the same issue. A few times I’ve visited and seen this, but other times it works. Not sure what makes the difference.

Seems like the css is not loading. Could be a number of issues. Resetting firefox can help: by going to menu > help > more troubleshooting information.

It fixed itself the next day, not sure if Firefox cleared the cache by itself after a while, but next time it happens I’ll try to refresh Firefox from that page “More troubleshooting information”.

I use Firefox as my main browser and cannot reproduce this… If you find a specific issue, please let me know how to reproduce it and I’ll look into it.

If that was the case then try next time a hard refresh, what should be ctrl-shift-r on firefox.

Funny, it just happened again when I opened BA from a notification email.
Ctrl+Shift+R fixed it!
