Free alternatives to substance painter?

I like how substance painter is, it looks like it produces amazing results but the price is too high unfortunately. Any good free alternatives?

Pixaflux is currently free to use for commercial purposes. It is in beta though (so it may or may not have a price attached in the future).

It is node based and has features such as painting normal maps.

Mari Non-Commercial is worth checking out. It’s free for NC work.
