Opening the SkinShaderScene results in an instant CTD in all 3 versions of blender i have on my system. Should have know it was too good to be true.
Crikey, even appending the head and other objects into a new scene and then rendering with the GPU in viewport, caused errors like ive never seen before… OpenCL buffer size errors and odd screen artifacts… it then promptly crashed to the desk top.
Thanks for sharing. It does seem a little heavy on the memory…My poor 3 GB card immediately ran out of vRam when I hit render, but it worked fine on CPU. I gotta say preliminary results look promising, but I need to experiment with and dissect the shader a little more.
My PC has no problems with that. I can`t render it with the GPU cause to low GPU-Memory. But rendering with CPU is no problem cause 32 GByte RAM. The textures are to high for GPU rendering. Many thanks for sharing it.
Works fine for me, with GPU as well (3GB of VRAM). But it’s not fast to render on a GTX580
