Available at http://hessmer.org/gears/InvoluteSpurGearBuilder.html with lots of different settings. Export as .svg for import in Blender.
And animating them with GN isn’t that complicated either (though animation nodes still has more possibilities in this respect).

Since parenting isn’t possible in GN, a planetary rotation of the small gear within the big gear requires a bit of additional math, source file included.
