Came across this free addon to create a face trained on a scanned dataset, that’s AFAIK not yet shared on blenderartists.

  • Supports male & female gender
  • rigged & skinned
  • blendshapes / keyshapes for various expressions
  • trained on 33k+ scanned heads dataset

Came across this neat addon, that was a bit hidden away.

  • Since the license allows redistribution I uploaded the files on a Github repo
  • clarified the Readme a bit more,
  • added 1 click install support with the plugget blender addon if you search for flame-face-model.

The add-on is great, thanks for sharing it here. I noticed it uses the 2020 model but there is a new 2023 FLAME model which has better expression handling and more stable eyelid motion. I’m not an expert on creating blendshape- and skinning rigs, do you know if it will be updated / is anyone with the technical knowledge working on this?
