Didn’t know where else to post this, so here it is:
I was following a tutorial on gimpusers.com (the Orb Icons for Websites tutorial), and I made something cool that I thought I’d share - 12 different shiny globe images.
You’re free to use them however you want, just don’t say you made them.

Included in the download:
- The 12 images above (as PNG files with transparent backgrounds)
- The orginal .xcf file, with some extras for making more variety of images
BTW, the .xcf has paths set up (you can use them to select the shapes of the continents). Also, if you select the layer named “Base Circle” and use the “Alpha to Selection” option, you can select the shape of the circle behind the continents (the oceans).
Anyway, there here if anyone wants them. If not, I’ll put them to good use eventually.
