From Blender to Assetto Corsa

Greetings!

For months I’ve been wondering with the idea of import some of my car models to the Assetto Cosa PC game, if anyone around here knows something about it, please share the process. I was able to reduce the number of polygons to about 100k, I think this should be a decent number, but I can reduce it even more. I experiment some issues using the ksEditor, wich seems to be the tool used to convert the .FBX meshes to .kn5 format wich is the game format. I think the shading is also made in ksEditor.

It will be nice to learn how to do this, Assetto Corsa is full of community mods all around, lots of them with great finishes, I will be surely happy to contribute with mods made with my own Blender models.

Here are some pics captured ingame, with all community-made mods:

Thanks for your reply! And yes, I saw that video some weeks ago… But I couldn’t figure how to make the reverse step (importing an .fbx created in blender to Content Manager). Anyway, I’ll give it another try to see if I missed something up. I will post any positive result I get and if I success I will publish a step-by-step guide from the begginig to the end of the importing process.
