From Blender to Gimp with Verse

Hi all,

  After some research and compilation time, i was a little bit confused that the verse communication was only from gimp to Blender, not working from Blender to gimp.
  Any of you tried to use verse blender this way ? 
  Is there a Blender version able to do that ? If not, is someone able to tll me if that would be difficult to enable ?

Edit : Only thing is i use Unity, and it don’t work out of the box with Blender 2.53 (i like the confort to not have to manually export to fbx)…
