I followed BlenderGuru’s donut tutorial two months ago and returned to it today only to find the frosting now not aligned with the donut. What could’ve possibly happened and how do I fix this?
If you add a bit of topology to your frosting you’ll be able to snap to the face underneath, right now the topology must not be dense enough
Are you sure there isn’t a way to simply drag the frosting back onto the donut?
oh yes perhaps, it depends on what you mean by “doesn’t align”, I thought you were talking about faces overlapping
