Gallery links UX

Hey all,

I’m new here so apologies for my first post being a critical one…

I was browsing the gallery and clicking around and noticed the following:

1. I can’t open any images in a new tab. I think target="_blank" or similar would do the trick;
2. I can’t go back to where I was when I originally clicked the image. I am forced to return to the top of the gallery page and scroll down to where I was which is a huge pain if I have to flick through hundreds of images.

How do you try to open them? It seems to work for me.

Confirmed. I have reported this to the plugin developer.
