One of my unfortunate lingering memories from “high school in the late 70’s” is that we all gathered in the cafeteria – sometimes for more than an hour – until “the 8:30 bell rang,” as the various school buses came in. I can never forget the cacophony of little, twittering noises from what seemed to be hundreds of “those damned little game boxes.”
