GameExport Pre-Flight - validated one-click FBX/glTF export for Unity, Unreal and Godot [$19.99]

Hi everyone. First release from me under the name Trisect Tools.

GameExport Pre-Flight checks your models for the usual export killers, fixes the safe ones, and exports with per-engine settings, from one panel in the sidebar.

Why: I kept hitting the classics - the -89.98 rotation in Unity, wrong scale in Unreal, missing smoothing groups, batch exports full of Camera.fbx and Cube.001. The settings that prevent all of this are documented in a hundred scattered threads (plenty of them on this forum), so I put the whole checklist into a tool.

What it does:

  • 13 pre-export checks: unapplied rotation/scale, negative (mirrored) scale, missing UVs, ngons, non-manifold edges, loose geometry, zero-area faces, default names, empty material slots, missing texture files, armature scale and root-bone checks. Clicking a warning selects the object.
  • “Fix Safe Issues” applies rotation/scale, deletes loose geometry, removes empty slots. It never renames anything and never touches UVs.
  • Engine presets: Unity (baked space transform, imports at rotation 0 / scale 1), Unreal (1:1 cm scale, face smoothing groups, tangent space, optional SM_/SK_ prefixes), Godot (.glb, modifiers applied).
  • Batch export: one file per selected object, exported at the origin, scene restored afterwards. Cameras and lights skipped. Errors block export until fixed (or overridden).

Blender 4.2+, tested on 4.4. Every release goes through an automated headless test suite that exports and re-imports files to verify dimensions and transforms survive.

Support: trisecttools@protonmail.com - include your Blender version, ideally the .blend. Bug reports get priority and I’ll be watching this thread. Feature requests genuinely steer the roadmap, so tell me what the checklist is missing.
