Garry's Mod Playermodel Weight Painting/Rigging Issue

Hello everyone, I’ve been working on a Garry’s Mod playermodel with Blender 2.81. For some reason, the weight painting on both the forearms and feet aren’t registering correctly when I compile it in Crowbar. I’m thinking it might be that the bones in the forearm and feet are not aligned properly, because I’ve made sure to thoroughly check that none of the vertices are painted to other places. I would appreciate any assistance on this matter.

Okay! So, I figured out a workaround for the twisted arms and hands issue - I basically just copied the limbs and skeleton from a different model and modified it to suit my needs and it’s looking good. Only problem now is figuring out how to conceal the base of the arms so they aren’t protruding out of the body as you can see in the below pic:

It turns out my theory was right about the bones… The Source engine seems very picky about their exact placement.
