This is beyond impressive!
These are the kinds of machines that are super cool, but scare the snot out of me. I wonder how far away you have to be before you can’t hear it running any more.
They are loud, thats right. During operation, they go up to 100dB(A), which is by far not that loud as a jet engine is, because of the overall different design. Within the gas turbine plant, the gas turbine is capsuled anyway, and the outlet is part of the whole plant system, so you dont hear that much outside the main house where the engine is located.
